I found a few sparse posts about this place in old forums so went to check it out. turned out to be a goo day. We rode some trails, found some geocaches, hiked some, almost stepped on a copperhead... I will definitely be going back. Its not a hge place but since it is only an hour away, it works for me.

Wheel was stuffed in pretty good here, it was rubbing just enough to freak the wife out but I made it over this hump and she was ok again.

This little wash stopped our progress in this direction... Im sure some libbys with more lift and armor could of made it but I wasnt trying it.

This was too steep for me to try... it looks much steeper in person than in the picture

This next image was way up a hill on a trail that I wasnt going to try in my stock libby with nobody else around to help me out should I get stuck but this was the best looking trail I came across. It started with a nice little stream crossing, then some mud, followed by a huge rocky hill. Halfway up it was blocked by a fallen tree so you had to go around. Then further up was this obsatcle that somebody had built. We only hiked this one but it looked like a lot of fun. It even shows up on garmins topo 2008 maps. Next time I may try to see if I can come in from the other end.

ok, time to back up!!

Boyds is about 25 miles south of there but you have to travel I-270 to get there so it could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the time of day. If you want detailed directions, let me know and I can help you out.

Hmmmmmm.....ok you got me thinking now. I was going to take a car down there (30+mpg) but now I might take the KJ. My Son is in Boyds and he has a JK and might be interested. I'll talk to him and pm you so I don't mess up your thread. Maybe we could meet up there and get the jeeps dirty.
