Did a run to the top of Peavine Mt. and played in the snow with a local group.

Those boatsides as they are called I guess, are a custom job made of 5/16 steel. Probably around 200 pounds per side. He cut the lower portions of his doors and welded the boat sides into to his unibody. |

None of these I have posted so far are mine, neither are these: This is the FJ on 42 that plowed through a massive hip deep snow drift and then turned around to winch those that followed. Probelm was he dug big friggin ruts, see pic below, and those ruts are where I got stuck coming through and had to be winched. Otherwise I think I could have made it. But I did make it farther than 75% of the other rigs that came.

Snow can make any trail more fun, for me even driving to the grocery store is a worth while event.

A few more:
You know it is deep if to get unstuck you need an old FJ on 42s winching while a CJ on 37s pulls the FJ with a strap.
Only guy that never had any trouble whatsoever
