Post subject: | Deer Valley Trail Run... (loads of pics) |
Spent the day high in the Sierras running Deer Valley, a trail I have been wanting to run ever since I heard about it. It was a blast. I took a lot of pics and my friend, the guy in the LJ, took some too. I think the guy in the JK took some as well. The trail was probably the most technical trail I've run to date. Not terribly hard but NOT easy. Skids, high clearance bumpers, and rock rails were a must. I used all of them and was glad I had them. Good times. Here are my buddy, Shane's pics (mine are loading): First water crossing, the shallow one... The 2nd, deep, water crossing... |

These are the ones that I shot, except the shots of my jeep anyway, and you can click them and choose full screen option for bigger ones: |

Awesome Mike, I'm glad you got to run the trail. I think I'll wait till the end of summer to cross the streams...I mean rivers. MK |

end of summer to cross the streams...I mean rivers. MK I'm glad I got to run it too. It is a fairly tough trail I was really happy and kind of surprised at how well I did on it. Not damage, nor straps and no winching. Just kept on going, having a blast. |

2. Absolutely beautiful country. 3. Thanks for sharing. 1. It was a near perfect day. Only thing that would have made it better would have been if I were camping at the waterfall, in a great spot that was there. 2. It was one of the most beautiful and scenic trails I've ever done. It is gorgeous up there. 3. You are welcome and I'm glad you enjoyed. |
