Now that it's out and spoken, let's leave it at that, everyone's afforded some fups. No matter what's said or discussed - or otherwise - people will be people and choose to place their strictest loyalties where they feel they're safest. No big deal, that's exactly how it should work. I don't think anyone intentionally went out to hurt anyone's feelings or tick anyone off. Even some of the stuff that was said about other people wasn't totally intended to offend anyone, present at the time or not. Some people take certain things more seriously than they should, and some don't take some things as seriously as they should.

Sounds fairly even keel to me. Kiss and make up or something, some of this statics been rolling three months. Glad ya got it off your chest.

How about I buy everyone a round at the park and we'll call it good.

Thanks for the trip report fellers, looks like a nice lil spot

any idea how busy the place gets when it's snow free? For the most part I don't do places like cliff's or badlands due to the volume of four-tards that make the trip edgy

sounds like a plan man, well not sure about how busy it is, but my friend's with the Sammy and Yota 4 runners go there alot, and they say they always have a good time. We could see the other trails but due to ice and snow could not get into certain areas of the park, I did not see any cliffs, but on the creek bed there are some pretty serious lips going up the banks but usually an easier bypass right next to it, so you don't have to take unnecessary risks.

we had plenty to do there, we should have put on a winch and recovery class, most but not all got stuck, myself included and needed the assistance of others, btw the pic of the Sammy getting pulled out of the bog, (you can only see the strap and not what is pulling it was me! hopefully, someone has a pic of it, I need to upload 1996XJ's pics for him, as soon as I do, I will get them posted

Yeah I thought they had a pic of you pulling him out Dustin, but I wasn't the one with the camera at that time. Oh and I didn't get stuck :-)r
It was a blast and I plan on definitely going back to that park in the future. Hopefully we can get a big group together and maybe I will have a lift and some nice tires by then.

Oh and as for the "Gayton crew" I must say they have helped me out a bunch in the past and I still feel like I owe them. All I can say is they are a great group of guys!

I just wanted to say I had a good time at Bill's 491. It's been WAY too long since I've been out wheeling. Thanks for making me and my TJ welcome. You are a great bunch and I'd be happy to wheel with you again!

Front differential needs repairs. CV's and front driveshaft are out, and the differential is drained... it's basically just hanging there serving no purpose. I'll get fixed this winter/spring.

ahh, bummer...hope you get it running soon. would like to wheel with another woman (besides men  )

to tell you the truth, I am contemplating it also, tired of the Gayton Crew BS, and tired of certain members making a Jeep forum out to be more than it really is...a forum

Jayme,

I hope you get your ride fixed soon, 491 is a nice park, very pretty scenery and one of the cleaner parks I have been to.

I have still not gotten to wheel (meet you even) with you.

491 may be our new Haspin Acres since it is closer, and much more enjoyable
