...and out of nowhere... a trip report
I'm writing thisfrom the southern coast of Sri Lanka in a village called Kogolla. Been playing here for the past few days so here you go.
Some traditional stilt fisherman in souther Sri Lanka.
My first mode of transport after getting here: my tuk tuk... it was awesome.... scariest thing I've ever driven, but awesome.
Second... my elephant... we went for a nice cruise for a day or two. I thought the mileage would be better, but it only gets about 0.25 miles to the pineapple, and there's no way it'll pass an emissions test.
Lastly, my Rover... cruising around the boonies and chasing down some big animals... not a great internet connection, but I'll post up what I can...
I had to barter for a while to get them to let me take the Rover... it's normally for guided safari tours... $50 later, it's all mine for the day (with an passenger... to make sure I didn't do anything dumb I suppose).
Catch you all on the flipside! Back to Afghanistan ina couple weeks...
