My wife and I went on a very easy trip by ourselves in the southern part of the Chiracahua Mountains, part of the Coronado National Forest in southern AZ.
This is just going off onto Forest Roads off of Tex Canyon Road, which is a good dirt road. This is good for (1) being by yourself, like we were, without worrying about getting into trouble or (2) a stock KJ/KK with real tires. In fact we saw a KJ headed into one of the roads as we were headed out. Tex Canyon Road is a piece of cake, but there is some challenge on the Forest Roads. It's pretty there. Last year there was a big forest fire there, which is evident from some of the pix.
On this trip we learned the lesson to check the O-rings on your fuel cans every time. One of the cans didn't want to seal and later leaked like crazy. Inspecting the stopper it turned out the O-ring was missing. Fortunately we had it as it had stuck to the pour spout, so it was an easy fix.
