Well, after a long hard year LJS 2012 is here and gone. This year in Moab was one of the best times I have had with a group in a very long time, not to take away from any other LJS events; those were all great as well. This one seemed to have new life breathed into it and the group of people that came to this event is what made it so special. I have to say, if you have never been, or haven’t been to one of these events in a while it really is a must do, the Moab area is truly spectacular. The weather this year was outstanding, though a little hot at times but it didn’t rain once which is a first for us. We had a total of 9 rigs at the height of the event, with an average of about 7-8 every day except on day 6 which we had 3. We had members from Southern CA, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado attending, I am hoping next year to have an even better turn out. We made it through the week without any carnage or breakage ( well except for me and my driveline which I patched up and made it through the week) We had some exciting moments for sure with Ted (USAFCOP) tackling Hells Gate, and Wipe Out Hill and Annette (YAZHI) powering up Escalator. There are videos of both of these on YouTube. We had a small raffle on Tuesday night with a BBQ and that was a lot of fun with some cool items that members won. We also got to go to AREA BFE. This was really great because one of the owners took us through with the owner of Moab Power Sports. It was really fun and a must do for any of the future LJS events .Well enough of me writing, the pictures are below set up by day, all are on photobucket, you can look, share, take whatever you wish. Day 3 has a lot of sequential pictures so it’s a big album. Thank you for everyone who attended it was really a great event and we will see you next year!

Allyrand is already planning another safari for next April. Put it on the calendar. I was the only IFS KJ to show up this year. I hope there will be a few more next year.

He was there for Day 1 and 2. He rode with Ted on day 2. Then he had to leave on Monday due to a work related issue.

Hopefully I'll have moved out to CO by the next LJS so I can make it. I dream of MOAB some times. Lol

Mark, you forgot to mention that you did Hells Revenge Trail, unassisted! Great job for the little Libby. Amazing what a lift, rock sliders and tires will do (and the TCS). Really enjoyed getting to know you and Geri, look forward to seeing you again.

As for other IFS Liberty owners, make it next time you will have a blast.
