So I took a little trip into the woods this weekend with a friend. I have heard about these trains many times from people paddling the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. I knew there was a way to hike into them as well as canoe in so we ventured out to find them. Here is a link so you can read more about them:

It would make a great stop if you were in the area fishing or camping for the week. While not a very challenging drive, it was a good little getaway! The hike in was maybe 1.5 miles, and pretty easy. The trail was very traveled and flagged for the first half. Right about the time you think your running out of trail, you find tracks running through the woods. (P.S, not sure if this is in the correct section, somebody move it if you have to.)
The Trains
Highly Skilled train sniffing dog. Fully 100% neccessary for actually finding the trains. I'll lend you one if you need.
Gotta Get skinny!
Ran out of road.
And making my stock, bald tired, suspension shot KJ look bad!
