Thank You Jayme! I have really enjoyed following you and Aaron's vacation over the last couple of weeks. And your photography was as always wonderful but you can really see that you have gotten even better in the last year. thanks again.

Thanks so much, Jayme and Aaron - beautiful pics and story to go along with them. As I said in an earlier reply, your report has given my wife and me inspiration for a trip of our own.

Now to break out the maps and start planning... 8)

Bob

Thank you so much for such a lovely trip photo journal! My wife and I enjoyed reading your installments and would love to take a western trip of our own someday soon. You have inspired us!

Thanks for the tale and incredible pictures. Been trying to talk the wife into a trip like this.

Good motivation to get out of Ohio for a bit.

Jeff.

Jayme,
Thank you for sharing your trip. I have enjoyed reading it and all the the beautiful photos. I have shared them with my friends, who have enjoyed them to. I must say it has given me more food for thought of organising such a trip through the USA, time & money will tell if I am going to be able to get organised and follow part of the same trip.
Thank you again for sharing and I am sure we could do with more (… I sure can, bit greedy like that  :ROTFL: )
Fil.

yellocoyote, thanks for this set of reports. I've been a member here for about two years, but have mostly been a lurker. When I first joined, I thought that most of the reports here were for another trip to Moab, but seeing this one inspires me want to post a few of my road trips here since becoming a KJ owner, even though they have been posted elswhere. Why not?

A couple of comments about some of the towns in AZ. I think when I passed through AZ in '91, I stopped at that place in "Meteor City" and bought myself some cheap Navajo trinkets. Too bad it's closed now. I stopped in Winslow on that same trip and from what I see in this report and other places, it is a durned shame that the town council decided to ruin that there corner in Winslow Arizona with that 'tourist' trap statue. Bet that cost the taxpayers a bunch. And for what? Just to ruin the real thing. The 'real' spot was (I think) at the old drug store (might be where the wooden indian is?).

Anyways, thanks, now off to look for my KJ road trips that I have posted elsewhere, but why not post them here as well. . . . . .

I realize this is a bit of an old thread but I really enjoyed it and wanted to say thanks for posting it up! I got to run a portion of Route 66 back in 2011 on my Honeymoon but really want to go back and do the whole thing one day!
