Below is a message I just sent off to voice my concern over a recent closure of access to Doran cyn in Calico. Quote: Supervisor Mitzelfelt,
PLEASE look into the closure of an entrance onto Doran canyon trail. It is unnaceptable that this over 100 year old bypass route has been blocked off as it is the only way to access the trail area by many 4x4 vehicles. Access to this area is important to my family and friends who visit this area a couple times a year to see the historical aspects of this mining area and to explore the 4x4 trails.
