Any thoughts of making a complete KK skid package?

X2!!!!!!!!!!!!

X3. No pressure. :goink:

X4 Sliders wouldn't hurt either. It'd give a nice option for others to choose from. lol

On the topic of the tube bumper, not sure how I feel either. I'm picky when it comes to tube bumpers. I think it's the fact that you see the crossmember, but Idk

We'll see how it turns out when I'm all done..

As for skids, its possible. They wouldn't be overly difficult to make if the parts to be bent are under 19" as thats the width of my press brake.

Sliders, I keep telling myself I'll make some one day but there are already two companies making them that look like good designs. If I did them I would put a twist on them for some variety. 8)

Well if it doesn't work good with the KK you could always test it out on a KJ!

EDIT: Forgot to add that I'm extremely impressed with the level of skill you have for fabbing! Looks almost like it's made by robots in a factory!

This is like every Sci-Fi dream I had in Junior High. Humans! Almost as good as Robots! All those teachers who told me to give up the outlandish science fiction books I read must be turning over in their graves. :ROTFL:

Atthehelm, would either bumpers cause problems on a non lifted liberty? I know the weight will be a lot more, but I wasn't sure if it would be too much for stock springs.

I would definitely recommend upgrading your suspension first. You can run them without any suspension upgrades but the extra weight will make the light weight stock springs and shocks wear faster.

I'm guessing it won't be much longer till we see a Jeep featured in a magazine rocking some At The Helm products.

It will be the magazine's loss if we don't. :D

A good twist that would make AtTheHelm's sliders unique is to have them completely replace the plastic rocker panels under the doors, rather than trying to bolt up under them. :2cents:

No, sorry. It's been tucked away in the corner unfinished. I just haven't had time to work on it. :juggle:

Air compressor motor burned up on me the other day. I couldn't find a direct replacement going off the part number (I don't know how old the unit is) and didn't want to waste time buying the wrong motor so I jist got a whole new Kobalt 60 gallon. Hopefully this one holds up. I think I'm going to build a small 'closet' with air filter for it to help keep the dust off it. I suspect all the plasma and grinder dust contributed to the other ones demise.
