Of course, now it needs the 'Clint' test. That is, will the bar take the weight of the KJ and retain it's shape. Again and again. See the home page www.lostkjs.com for a pic.

Don't know what kind of proof you want but...... I overkilled it just like every other manufacturer/builder has done and I can lift the weight of the jeep no prob! :wink:

Thanks for the compliment. The one thing I may have changed was the angle of the rake, but the more it angles up, the less functional it is as a step also. :wink:

ok i cant say this enough.. Did you write the dimensions down??? Everytime someone makes something on here i offer to do a cad drawing so garage fabricators can either make there own or find someone to make them.
So ill put it out there for the 20th time.. ill Draw up a cad and put it on pdf so everyone can view it. Designs like that are great and so many people can benifit. so send me those dimensions or quick draw up something freehand and email me ill put if nice and clear onto cad for everyone to see.
