Are the metal guards just 3M or should they have metal tabs on them that allow you to screw into our KJ's? B/c I think the 3M ones that are metal would do more harm b/c they hit the light and would break them. |

using the bolts from the light housing. They will rip sheetmetal if caught on a branch. My friend bounced his off a tree and it ripped out and thankfully only bent the metal. I'd rather have the 3M ones since they will still protect about the same, but wont do sheet metal damage if caught. |
