Ok, here's a stupid question but one that I have to ask... where did you mount it? I mean since the Libby doesn't have a "frame" to bolt it to, where would you mount one of these? Making my own bumper is going to be one of my projects since I can't find a decent bumper that I like or can afford (from the two that are available right now).

I am wonder the same thing.

its bolted on to the psuedo frame where the tow hooks would be mounted an the winch bumper i build will grab all the attachement points of the tow hooks for added streingth. key is to try to keep any pulling youll do at the height of the frame rails so your not tweaking them at an angle or getting any leverage on the frame. for straight pulling it will be plenty strong.

heres how he mounted it

I agree with your opening observation your getting real close to ALLJ's design a little more rounding and use the stock turn signal lights a think you would sell a few. No Disrespect your work is great but I among others are singing the blues cause the others are discontinued. You're already almost there. So then offer both designs I think you might be able to make a $1.00 or $2.00. Don't think I'm dissing your work I admire it and you know what your doing. I wish I knew how to weld but I have held a spray gun in my hands once or twice. Maybe I should check with L.O.S.T. Rockey's and see if they would wish to swap what we know I show them painting tricks and they teach me welding tricks
