Very nice...maybe a few cosmetic upgrades to the corners like you said but overall that is a cool bumper. Excellent Job.

Good looking bumper! I agree on coming out a little more just to protect fenders more from rocks but hey if you threw it away Id be there to grab it! :lol:

Ok, so you know that doing this is illegal on a Jeep site, you can't just stop with that description! What did you use for metal, etc.... I have been thinking about building something similar.

Cutting off the fender flares is easy , almost too easy! Mark a line and use a key hole saw, 3 minutes and you are done! Nothing too it!

Yeh, we know cutting plastic is easy. I was wondering how hard it was to connect the aftermarket turn-signals. I was just planning on chopping off my fog light areas and thought about cutting a little higher and getting some nicer signals.

Ok, here's a stupid question but one that I have to ask... where did you mount it? I mean since the Libby doesn't have a "frame" to bolt it to, where would you mount one of these? Making my own bumper is going to be one of my projects since I can't find a decent bumper that I like or can afford (from the two that are available right now).

The bumper is looking better all the time. I couldn't help but notice you only have 4 bolts anchoring the bumper to unibody. I sure hope that's enough support. Maybe you should post and ask others for the experience in this area. Other bumpers like the TJM use 12 half inch bolts to secure the bumper to the unibody. Just something to think about.
