Any update on these bad boys? I could have used them this weekend, lol. Right when I turned into the gas station my low gas light came on and I still had around 45 more miles to hit but couldn't. I don't like to take those chances in the desert. It is mighty unforgiving at times.

Very nice. I like the placement of your rear lights, too. Are you still able to source the Sceptre MFCs up there in the frozen north? I'd love to buy a few but the wisdom of CARB (or perhaps some other bureaucratic US gvt agency with its head up its arse) won't let us buy them in the states anymore. Want to ship some in exchange for some US microbrews? :)

I installed the lights after climbing a trail that somebody blocked with concrete blocks. Plenty of lights at the front but nothing at the back. I had to back up with a lake to the left and a steep fall to the right. Another time, I had to unhook the trailer, turn the jeep around and turn on the light bar to load. Now I have those backup lights with a 3 positions switch: reverse, off, on. Love it. As for the scepter MFC, here's where I purchased mine: http://www.prefair.ca/products/?id=1180&s=432 for 10$ can. Those are the ones that were used with the old Canadian Forces Iltis. Those guys are located in Beloeil, Qc. There's also a few on ebay. I have both the water can and the MFC and they're just great.

Very nice, e_poirier2004! Ten gallons of necessary gas! Has anyone seen these on the road or trail? A little better aerodynamics on the roof? http://www.campinglab.com/jerrycanholder.html#

I have not seen those. Looks like a good setup though.
