It is the same rub on the sway bar as I had with 245/75 and I will need to do some work on the back .thinking of using 1" spacers and getting diffrent fender flairs

without the fender liner, where did you attach the brake line to up front?

the brake line doesn't attach to the fender liner. It bolts up to the unibody. Least thats how it was on my '02.

on my 03 it's riveted to the liner. Can you email or post some close ups? I wonder if I can retro fit.

You know, since I made my fender cut I've been throught Calico and two Tucson trails. I've still got my liners on. My one remaining rubbing spot in front won't be cured by removing the liner. Nor will the extreme case for a rub in the rear. There's solid metal behind each rub point so removing the liner won't help.

But on both trails, no rubbing or stuffing issues.

FYI.

I removed my fender linings since the M/T's I have were running into the tops when stuffed. You can get around an extra inch a the top in the rear, because under the fender liners is another pinch weld that can be flattened.

My current problem is rubbing on the front of the rear wheel well when I'm stuffed- I'll fix that with some Rub xpress arms when I get some cash, also thinking about lifting the rear a little more.

I'm thinking of doing this, what tools did you need for the job?

Sawzall or other dangerously-effective cutting tool (Home Depot). I'd get some sand paper, too, if you have a hard time cutting clean edges. The door trim Calvin56 uses looks real good, so he probably didn't even worry about the edges and just covered them. Don't forget your plastic rivets from NAPA or a dealership, they are necessary to put the bumper and fender flares back on, which you should be taking off before cutting.

"The [washer] pump wiring required extension to reach the new mounting point. "

A little elaboration would be greatly appreciated! How did you extend the wires?

I used a RotoZip to cut mine and it cuts real smooth compared to a saw. I had the plastic rivets included with my Draw-Tite hitch to put the cover back on. Pics in link on my sig.

I bought some 14(might have been 16?) gauge wire at a NAPA/Pep Boyz type store along with connecters- the kind you crimp down on either end and cut the original wires and extended them using the connectors and the new wire I bought.
