Couple questions,

Is that 2 x 2?
How thick was the flat stock for mounting to the body?
What type of steel did you use?

I used 2x2 3/16" and 3/4" (not sure of the thickness they only had one type) and the steel for the body mount is 1/8"...if I did it again I would get 3/16 plate as welding would be easier but the 1/8 was fine.

$120 Canadian for all the metal at a local metal shop, should have been cheaper but I bought extras incase I messed something up.

+ a flat of beer for the guy that let me use his mig and band saw I also gave him a fe bucks for gas and wire for his mig..... I'm probably into them for $200 canadian including everything right down to the pizza. Saved me quite a bit of bank, plus the satisfaction of making them myself...plus I love to cobble stuff up.

I would measure them yourself, I made the mistake of making one side the same as the other and it was off on one post so I had to fix that.

Looks nice, I just picked up the 2x2 for my rails from fastenal.... I got a great deal $25.00 for both 60" pieces.... just need to get a few more pieces of metal and I will be ready to weld them up.... it's nice to be able to pull in favors to get metal for these kind of projects.... just need to keep my eyes peeled, and $25 might be all I have to spend on metal
