Has anyone fitted 265/75R 16 on there 2.5 lifted Liberty. This is David's brother Tony. After my Brother purchased his Liberty I Installed the Skyjacker front and rear Coil suspension. The 265/75's conserned me in the front at first but after some metal trimming and adding a spacer to the front, The front meats tuck and turn nicely and i didnt even need to turn the CV's down ( Stupid stock upper control arm Limits droop). Unfortunatly after finishing the front and turning to the rear, things are a little different. Full Articulation will only require a lil trimming and fender rolling, (which will be hidden nicely by the Plastic fenders flares). But a full rear compression will cause havok on the inner upper fender and the forward fender behind the rear door. Has anyone else addressed this problem. Does anyone have after market trailing bars that are a tad bit longer. Any info will help before I start cutting and fabing. Thank You. |

Wouldn't this be more of a de-fabrication? You should check the 4x4 or Tire Threads. |

All I know is that before I got my ARB bumper, I had to cut away at the stock bumper so no rubbing would take place. It still rubs the sway bar, but hopefully when I buy new wheels that will stop. |

Call me at the office, I have a fix for you. TJ trim packers will fit with a little modification. They still rub slightly, but they'll help a ton. I have 265's on mine.... Rubicon Express Grand Cherokee arms fit right in there...try those to push the axle away from the front of the rear fender well a little. Worked for me, too and got some extra flex on it. I had Rusty's make me a set of rear arms that are adjustable and articulate. They are still working fine after 2 years and about 30K. They did get a little noisey. When flexing on the trail they would rattle. I relocated the the grease fitting to the tube part of the arm and filled them with grease. Nice and quiet now. I also installed them upside down. I was doing some research looking for wheel well liner removal and came across this thread....reviving an old thread I know but....what the heck are trim packers? |

Seth, I wish you would have asked this morning, I could have showed you pictures. They are 1/2" poly doughnuts that install above the rear spring pads. Got mine from the wonderfull Mrs. Heather at All Js. |
