Post subject:  the start of the roof rack...
Okay guys my previous "Ghetto roof rack," sucked and looked stupid and served no purpose. So with the help of jrh955, of whom I bought the stock sport roof rails, and the idea from warholamo, here is my new start guys. Any comments or suggentions are welcome!

I bought four of these at Lowe's for $0.68 a piece Image
and I attached it to my old steel bar that I got for free from work...

and I attached that to the roof

The new sport roof rails held up perfectly, like I new they would, but the old damage done was me standing on the steel bar, which barely bent.
The same process will be repeated at the front of the roof rails, and then I will move from there!

Very nice so what we have here is some 1" mineralac strap ( 1 " emt or other pipe clamps ) and some 3/4 " strut ... Very clean simple and efective maybe like 30 bucks :D

Looks good. IMO you need heavier steel strut than that to carry much weight. I like the reflectors.
