I know this isn't a fab for the KJ but I will be towing it with the KJ.

On Aug 13, 2007 I started building my frame for the floor

looks great! :D what size trailer is that? 4x8? and what did you use for siding?

but you should have built it on one of those off road trailers  camp anywhere you want

Its a 5'x8' trailer, the interior compartment is the size of a queen size matress. I used 1/2" plywood for the walls and a good exterior latex paint. My next one will be an off road capable Teardrop. I just wanted to see if I could actually build one first. I am still going to insulate the walls and ceiling and skin the inside with paneling. Later aluminum for the outside.

Looking good for sure been thinking of building one of these for years but never done it yet. Do you have any measurements to share? 5X8 would be a nice size for it looked at a couple 4 foot wide not enough room at all! I keep looking at these or an old 1/4 military to revamp. Just bought a roof top tent but after seeing yours....got me in the mood again. How many sheets of plywood total did it take?

Thanks

Tom

Tom, it took about 9 sheets ( 2 for the floor, 2 for the walls, the rest for the roof and hatch.

So far it's taken me a month and about a week. I hope to finish this week so I can test it out before our outing to Katemcy Rocks on 9/28.
