I have posted the KJ Extra Leg Room Brackets fabrication CAD sketch and photo on the following link: http://picasaweb.google.com/warp2diesel ... Zpne-9VZ8A
When ever the weather and hunny-do list cooperates, I will install them and post the photos showing installation on my Picasa site.
I made them to give my legs some extra room to help my right knee feel better on long trips.

Steve :)

I plan to put the drivers side so they raise the seat 1/4" evenly. On the passenger side I will flip the rear ones over so they rais up the back and make the seat back more upright for my wife. Most women have a bigger tush (we men loose ours) and need the seat back more upright to reduce back strain. That is the method to my objective.

KJ Extra Leg Room Brackets provide 2.25" more leg room.

Today it was warmer and in the low 30s, so I installed the KJ Extra Leg Room Brackets and took photos of the installation.
On the passenger side I put the front brackets in the low profile position to give my Wife the more upright seat back she wants (with out going into extensive ergonomics to explain why, most women prefer a more upright seat back).
On the drivers side I put all four in the high position since the KJ has enough head room for me, most cars don't. Look at the outer rear installed bracket photo and see how tight the fit is between the seat frame and the bolt head, they kiss very hard.
Note: The brackets can be fabricated longer to provide more than 2.25 inch extra leg room if needed, but do not try to shorten them up unless you have a source for 12mm X 1.75mm pitch X 40mm counter sunk flat head bolts or want to do some serious rework of the sear frame.

I travel allot and get allot of Hotel time, my time at home is very limited and I do not have time to go into the manufacturing business. I provided the CAD Sketch for others who want to develop/ produce a set for their own use and experimentation. I assume no liability for any one else's work or installation.
Remember to readjust your mirrors and pay close attention to people who love to hide in your blind spots. I have installed blind spot mirrors on my outside rear views to see these people.

Steve
