I've been the victim of Identity theft. Someone has/had been logging into my bank information and multiple websites (Among other personal sensitive sites) that I check out on a day to day basis on my two computers via my wireless router and the unintentional help of my little daughter.
As a result there have been messages posted by some son of a &^%$( that has caused me great pain in the @$#% over the last three months.
I am taking every measure to rectify this problem.

Thank you.

Haven't done anything with these in a while... they moved to the back burner until I get some better shop equipment

I've been having some people asking me... so here's the official update of the flat fenders...

They are DEAD!!

Not really... these were basically built to be prototypes that I hoped would survive the trip to Moab back in March of 2008. They lasted almost a year and a half before finally meeting their match. The passenger-side fender got whacked pretty hard on a rock in Moab last fall and must have made a crack in the front. All winter the salt from the roads worked into there and corroded everything. (the cheap undercoating I used did nothing to stop this) After another rock impact this spring, the sheet metal began to seperate from the frame and I retired them to a shelf in my garage.

This is what they looked like in their finished state:

You can see where the sheet metal is seperating from the frame on the passenger side. This was their last outing

Another version of these will be in the works sometime over the next year... the idea worked great, it's just time for some better shop equipment to make them more refined and tweak the design. :D

I am saving the narrowed bumper and the relocated turn signals though... they are definitely keepers :D

Couldn't you just weld them onto the frame so you don't have to worry about them seperating?

not frame to weld to, you could weld them to the fender but then they arent easily removable
