I finally got around to finishing this project. Between the flashlight and fire extinguisher will be the control for the winch. Behind the pasenger seat will be the CO2 tank.

Terry, yours is looking great! I have some rough drawings of something similar but what I am thinking is to make it folding. From the rear shelf area it will come forward 26 inches, then the next part will be hinged and will be 13/14 inches. Folded you will have the 14 inch part to block anything coming forward, when needed the front seats can be slid all the way up and the front part of deck folded down to make a 6 foot long bed, air mattress thrown on top and good to go. Of course it will also be cut out in the middle for the console. I may try and make it so it all folds up behind the seats, pop the seats in and away you go 
Should be great for those one day/ night trips, staying too long at the bar, waiting for the husband to leave  thats another thread! 
In the planning stages right now, but has to be easy to take out or fold up due to taking my parents places every two or three weeks! Tom |

Tom: measure the width from the side to the edge of the console. Not much room the for an air mattress. I found that out. But what your planning sounds great. I can't wait to see it. Another thing I'm going to mount up front with the other stuff is a 350 watt inverter. It isn't real big but big enough I run mu drill off it. Terry |

Terry going to try a single mattress, one I already have here, hope it works if not 6 inches of foam may do it, just for me anyways wife would NEVER sleep back there!! already have a 500 inverter installed in the rear, they are handy to have! |

I bolted a piece to the floor and ran a steel plate from it too the frame. The reason I went with linoleum instead of carpet is because it will be a work area (when needed on trail) and easier to clean up. The fire ext. is setting in a 4" drain line cap (plastic). I used a 1.5" wood drill bit to make a flat spot on the bottom of it so it wouldn't tend to rock around. A screw with a large washer holds it in place and a piece of carpet to cover the screw. The wall bracket is at the top. Terry |

all you need now is a porta potty. I saw one once that attached to the rear hitch and had an actual toilet seat with a garbage bag underneath it. Could be like an outhouse! |

How about hardwiring a 12 v. fan in the driver-side rear,up high.There are some nice,small,very efficient,kick-but fans out there. Gotta keep cool. Also suggest duel batteries,and upping the inverter to 1500 w. min. I used 4 conductor #2 S.O. cord,very pliable similar to diesel locomotive wire heavy duty marine switch"1,2,all",mounted on front driver-side floorboard"angled part,easy switching" 1500 under rear driver-side seat blue top"in batt box" in the rear "in your case rear floorboard" This system allows for easy charging,long lasting usuage,and batt. backup in case of dead batt."no more jumper cables" Love-it |
