With Lost being down for a while I defected to jeepforum.com and got to looking at the neet Mil trailers that were being done up. I was in the middle of rebuilding the first trailer that I had built (about 20 yrs ago) Its sort of the neigborhood loaner and it looked it one buddy loaded it to the point of shackles flat to frame and bent the axels! so this is what I ended up with after the rebuild. The M711-A1 trailer M711= my address A1 = revision one

The wheels are from my old XL I have a 20mm ammo box that I still have to paint that goes on in front of the spare tire.
The small star on the tailgate is a barn door bracket off an old barn that was being torn down. Fenders are homemade also. Did a spring over lift to level it to the jeeps.

good looking little trailer, they can be real useful, I have a 5X8 that I built 10 years ago and its down at my parents, same way anyone needs a trailer they come and get it.

I just built a 4X4 foot over the past two weeks or so for quick little trips around here, camping trips, etc. mainly but can still haul 8 foot stuff if I have to with the tailgate down.

also if you want to see some trailer builds check out expeditionportal.com
these guys get serious with their builds
and I have another in the works
