well as i had said in the past; as soon as it gets warmer im going to pull off the flares and start throwing together some better ones that will look better with a bull bar and rear rl bumper. Also being removable for trail use. So now i need some help on ideas. I know there was some talk about a step.. Something like what the avalanche has on the bumper. i was thinking that the door migh be able to support one pretty well. I also know that I wanted to bring tem up a bit higher and a bit wider than stock. Ive borrowed the sheet welder to "ajust" the quarter panels to aid in the process. Im also working on a soluation for the gaps left by removing the liners. So let the sugestions begin. |

You might consider fiberglass , after creating a mold of like plaster and add inches where desidered. Then apply a release agent then start with resine and fiberglass matt , then when you pull you new designed fender flares out of the mold add some more fiberglass on top and sand and form to what ever design. Additionally once you have made you molds you can remake fender when ever damage occures. |

im planning on sheetmetal. Im not a huge fan of fiberglass or plastic. and i like the look of the black plastic of the sports so the lin-x wouldnt be a bad idea. |
