Had same idea but couldn't find a spot for it that would work to my liking.

I couldn't find Any spot that I liked how it looked for Any type of mounting. I want it in my field of vision so I can see it easily and only spot that I could find was up near the top of the left A pillar by the windshield. Only way I figured to make it sit there was to fab up a small shelf and attach It to the pillar then sit the SG on that and run the wire down inside the pillar cover.

thats a possibility... the only idea i could think of is, the factory head unit being 1.5 DIN, maybe an aftermarket head unit would free up some room in the console, Ive got some friends in the speaker buisness so maybe they can come up with something.

I talked to my friend who does the interior work, and i think we are going to delete the center 2 vents in the dash and mount it there, then I will also have room to mount a CB, video screen, GPS, switches anything like that i decide in the future... Ill let yall know how things turn out.

well after making two brackets, painting them mouting one of them, .......didn't like it at all! Good location , but sunvisor down couldn't see it. plus just didn't look right. Then looked all over where to cut fit, glue, screw, weld somewhere. So made nother bracket that puts it about a 1/4 inch from the windshield right in front of the driver, down low, can just see it over the dash when driving
Will post some pictures tomorrow

it plugs into your OBD II connector, and tells you you mpgs, rpms, hp, tq, trips, all your temps, sensors... and acts as a scanner to read codes..

computer is misbehaving tonight, sent some pis to cdiekhans for him to post up for me.

Not the best location but without some cutting and extra fabrication it will work for now.
