Post subject:  CB antenna mount no drilling and solid
I am not very good at recording what I do but here are some pics of an antenna mount my dad and me made in about 15 minutes. It requires no drilling and is rock solid. We made it from some metal we heated and bent to fit from the gate latch in between the gate and tail light. We then welded a standard antenna mount to it. The only thing I would have done diferent is change the angle at which the antenna sits to more straight up. It currently angle back slightly. Just an idea for those looking for a better way than putting sheet metal screws in the body. This idea came from Vern at AZ LOST.

Nice work! Why not just heat up the bracket to bend into the shape you prefer?

That is how I made it. I heated and bent it but I should have somehow slightly bent it forward so that the antenna doesnt lean back. I amy mess with it later. It still looks good and works great.


Oh, and no, there is no noise fro the fuel pump.
