That is pretty awesome!

Do you think the wing style bumper caps will fit under what is left of the bumper?

I'm thinking about doing this, but I want to angle the ends up towards the outside where what is left of the fender sits.

As long as the caps are even with the top of the bumper. Plus you can trim your factory bumper however will work for what you are doing.

Kinda off subject but does anyone know of, or have some sort of collar or brace or something for the front diff? I've spit one in half already and don't want to do it again.

only proven to help hold the pieces together should it break in the shaft area

i adequately explained in the PM when he sent me a pm asking for more information

also explained the proper lighter application of the right foot and a DTT eases the pains a bit too

Do you know of any other bracing for the front that does help for sure?

the casing is aluminum, it's pretty much doomed under the wrong circumstances no matter what you bolt, weld, glue or bungi cord to it

I just added new tow points. I used the same idea as some other people have done using 1 1/4 receiver's but I integrated it to my bumper. I like the way it came out but it was difficult and a real pain in the booty. If you want to do this using a bumper like I've done then make sure you have plenty of cutoff wheels for your Dremel and sharp drill bits.

Image
I mounted them inside the frame rails instead of under them.

Image
I had to cut the holes for the receiver's to poke through.

Image
The finished product. YAY! :-)r

Another view.

Sorry about the first two pics, the camera fogged up when I walked outside

That does look sweet. :) I like the diamond plate. I have a 04 so my turn signals are in the bumper so I couldn't do that.

Looks awesome, I may just do this some day. I see you cut more of your plastic bumper by the turn signals, do you have better pictures of that?

Do you get more water on the windshield when you pass over spots?

I know I do...water used to spray out to the side...now it hits windshield square on with a large gush if moving at more than a crawl.
