If I was only more than a foot shorter than 6'4"!
Then I could actually sleep in our KJ!

Looks great Chris! You might make a decent carpenter some day. I like the tie downs on the sides. Keeps stuff back there instead of in your lap. Is the back of a Liberty long enough to sleep in for a 6+ footer? If you haven't covered the back yet, you might want to look into some rubber roofing mtls. We use a product on flat or semi flat roofs that is about 3/16" thick and darn near indestructable. It can be cut w/ a razor knife, lays flat w/o adhesion and can be washed easily.

Sorry, didn't see page 2 of the thread. Looks better wrapped in the material you've chosen than rubber roofing material.

Fine job Chris,looks supaclean.
I'd love to do something like that if I didn't have two child seats back there.

That's what the eyes are for. You can use ratchet straps.

That would have paid for gas down and back from Livingston. Entry is free to all National Forests...

:D Looks good though.

Looks awesome, if I were you I'd finish the back and mold the platform up to the back of the jeep, maybe even take the plastic trim off and mold the wood straight up to the carpet, then you can load/unload harder without breakin nothing.

I was thinking of utilizing the roof rack but I think you're idea would be a lil safer.
