I relocated the washer bottle using the factory bottle. I shortened the washer hoses, fabbed a bracket to attatch bottle and lenghtened the electrical using the factory plug at pump because I didn't want to pull it out of the harness. Cut and shortened the long ars neck and used an epoxy for plastic to secure the neck to the top of bottle. A bad picture I know but thats all I could get tonight, if any one would like more pics I can throw some better pics up tomorrow night. I love the relocation because it really looks like it belongs there from the factory plus moves it from the bottom of the bumper(when trimmed).

Looks good, like it should have been there in the first place. It is weird because I was thinking about this two days ago. I was looking at the empty space in the engine compartment and wondered why nothing was there and why the washer fluid bottle wasn't put there. I know what my next mod is gonna be.

Any more pics and info would be awesome! :D

Yep it sure did, sorta "T" shaped is what the bracket is going to look like which will be stronger than the "L" shaped bracket I have in there now.

I will snap some more pics today and post them up tonight. It really was very easy to do and yes it sits like it is suppose to from the factory there. There are even some studs that you can use for your bracket that you have to make. :jester:

These are the plugs I forgot to mention, they are on a bracket right there that you must take off and secure the plugs.

The reason the bottle wasn't there originally is because in earlier KJs there are computers in that spot.

Good Choice of Location. We did same location with non-OEM jug. Last month we installed a AEM Air Intake which includes a metal box to compartment the air filter from the rest of the engine. We lucked out that the placement of the Washer Bottle Jug was perfect not to effect where the metal box wall for the air intake needed to go. WHEW.

Sorry to bring up and old thread, but how do you lengthen the electrical? I did the same as you but can figure how to lengthen it.

I didn't have to lengthen it. I just pulled it out of the factory harness and rerouted it with fresh conduit.

Okay, i used your idea, but lengthened it from the harness to fit with primary wire.

Ya know ya got me thinking so I popped the hood before I left for home tonight from work. I am sorry I was wrong, I did lengthen the wires and ran them in new conduit up to the new location.
Glad it worked out for ya :JEEPIN:
