I hate to add fuel to the fire, but once the wildman gets this done, I hope one of you moderators can edit out about 24 pages of "England this, I'd do that, if it were me...." and make this a build thread instead of a bunch of useless comments that nobody wants to read through :2cents:

Waiting on my friend to finish the v8 swap on his Liberty. He used a 4.7L from a Grand Cherokee. Everything is going great with his swap. It just needs an ECU and headers.

Awesome! Its a great engine and it sure is strong and pulls hard, but If I could go back in time Id slap my old self for not getting that 98 niner from my aunt and uncle. They were selling it for super cheap too and would have almost gave it too me.... :banghead:

He can sit next to me with my CRD with the ford 7.3 conversion...

Larry is working 6-7 days a week, 12 hours a day. Not much time for anything right now.

With all that time at work when he finally does get a day off he should be ready to burn through some more of this project. Maybe even have a little left over money for some motor upgrades?

Motor upgrades? It's already a 352 stroker! Seriously, don't be anxious for this one. With my wife's disability, having to help her and working 6 days a week, it may take me .......... wellllllll, ........ a while to finish this now. When I started this project she was still working (and bringing home more than I was), and I had extra time and money. It just ain't like that now! Since then, she became disabled, I lost my job of 16 years, we lost our house and almost had to declare bankruptcy. Things ARE looking up now with a UAW electrician job and my wife is finally beginning to be able to do a few things on her own. I still have to help her some but I haven't given up on it tho! It's being moved to my present house in two weeks so a few things may happen this summer with it.

Thanks, I've still got it and still plan to work on it one of these days! I'm renting my old house to my niece and her husband so it's still sitting there just waiting for money to drop out of the sky so I can buy more parts for it!
