I believe jeepworld has one for the KK and maybe the newer KJ's. Billet style.

I modded mine, the wife left the fuel door open leaving a gas station and it ended up getting ripped off by the wind! So mine looks like the older wranglers with NO DOOR! :ROTFL: So I guess the wife modded it for me!

It is really kind of expensive to buy a new one and I haven't come across a used replacement yet, so I've kind of grown attached to the look... :-)r

I rock guarded mine at the same time I did the wheel flares, I'm happy with the result. I did look for a fuel door for the 02 Liberty for a few years with no luck.

I have wanted to buy a billet style gas cover door for mine but no manufacturer I have searched makes one for us KJ owners.
I phoned one company that makes fuel doors and sent them a photo and dimensions which the owner said he could fabricate but no news on if that
company ever did make one. I thinkd the outfit was called AMI, Inc. here in California.

Anyone here have new info or how we at LOST could lobby any manufacturer to make fuel doors for our Libertys?

Everyone should inquire at 4 Wheel Parts or some other catalogue parts company.

That's what I've been wanting to do to my jeep. Gas door, flares, and bumper. If only I had a picture of a lite khaki jeep.

I've always thought fuel doors should blend into the body and almost blend in to be unseen
mmmmm very interesting

I agree with Tom I had and A4 before this it was a twin turbo Beast and was completely shaved you had to look really hard to find any lines on that car. But I lost my nice engineering job so had to sell it to go back to school. But i did get the CRD out of the deal so one turbo beast for another.

I broke mine years ago on a frigid morn, bumping it with my elbow during fillup. I got really lucky at the local u-pull it a short time ago. Libby same color. Wife suggests getting gas door. Perfect match. Score.
I had the open fuel door for some time. It looked ok. People poked fun at it. Now things right again. I couldn't settle on chrome without blinging other parts. Just not my style.
I was somewhat relieved to see some KJ's finnally at the yards. Some people are saddened. I see it as parts donation.
Search around one might just get lucky.

With a Reny, I think a billet with rivets would look great. Matching paint or black in color though. Not chrome.

I own a Khaki Liberty, please tell me how you made the fuel door black.
I bet others would do this.
