used zipties and stripped down bread twisties to attach it from the inside lol..


I just noticed this as I was looking back through all the posts. I think this is AWESOME that you used bread twisties!

i did mine out of black plastice gutter guard and put it in front of the billets and zip tied it behind the grill so you cant see the ties

i used the charcoal aluminum screen door stuff. cut them to roughly the right size and squished it between the insert and the grill. love it. post pics later if any one wants me to.

I zip tied it to the grille and used duracoat bed liner well over a year ago. No rust and still holding up strong.

I don't remember how long they've been in there, since whenever I posted my install report, since then my grills caught baseball sized chunks of asphalt etc

the grilling i put in has held up, held its paint, and the bread twisties are still holding strong lol.. best thing about it was.. I got to have a sandwich while doing the install... :)

It's kept a BUNNNNCH of crap out of my radiators too, works very well

Mine have held up well too. I installed mine late last summer, and I had one that moved a little (remember I had no zip ties or bread twisties) and the bedliner seems to be holding up well too.

I really like how they are working and how they look.
