Wondering if anybody else has found that the power adjusted drivers seat doesn't adjust low enough to provide head clearance? Anybody come across any clean fixes for it? I pulled the seat out to check into the option of cutting & welding the mounting brackets but there isn't much there to gain. Maybe an aftermarket seat? Thanks |

I dont know but I HATE the seat. It puts my back through what feels like a wrestling match with a 350lb muscle builder, even If im in the truck for more than an hour, and im on the younger side. |

Sorry to hear that you don' like the seat. What I found to be the most comfortable for me is to move it slightly forward a bit, raise the front and lower the back, then adjust the seat back as necessary. I'm 6'0" and have a long body with shorter legs. I was able to drive from CA to AL with very little discomfort or obscured vision. I hope you are able to find something that works for you. |

I have the manual adjustment seats (back pivots, slides front to back) and I have to say they really do suck. One hour I'm comfortable, after 2 if I don't get out I'm starting to hurt. To go three I need a solid 10 minute break or my circulation gets cut off too much and I get leg and back pains. |

The seat is fine by me, I just have to slouch so far to see out that it's tiring and uncomfortable. Dealers have told me that they often have the seat frames modified when they sell cars to basketball players, but the KJ's powerseat drive mechanism sits low, just off the floor, so it's more complicated than just cutting things down.. |

To be totally honest, some of us have a greater issue with our body, ummmm shape.... and condition than height, especially for circulation issues. It is hard to blame seats for an issue when you, say, push 300 #'s. Vehicles with bench seats are probably best for these applications... ![]() Yes, I have personal experience with this issue ![]() |

well for back support a just use a memory fom pillow from wallyworld and now long distant trips are no big deal with the basic sport seat |

Been a minute since this thread was hit, but from the other side of the spectrum, I'm 5'2" and 127 lbs and I love the seats and have no visibility issues (rare when you're the mayor of the munchkins). |

I'm 5'10" 185lbs and the seats flat out suck for me, any more than 2 hours and I need a 10 minute break. Hence the next mod Ditching the rear Bench and doing 4 suspension seats. |
