I hope I'm not beating a dead horse. I need to come up with a way of running homemade/precutt bar ( for mounting lights of course ) across my 2 luggage racks. I'm on a fairly tight budget, and my access to tools is limited. It wouldn't have to be Heavy duty, just need it to mount 4 lights on. ( like other light bars on this site ) I am open to any suggestions, and they are all appreciated. |

Have you not seen my write-up on the light bar I made? My Light Bar Cost me about $30 in parts and $30 for the welding. If you can weld you can do it all for around $30 +/- probably less as I did a lot of futzing with the design before I settled on the final one you see in my pics. The $30 would not include the CB antenna mount nor the CB antenna of course....and not the lights of of course. John ];') |

Yeah that looks sweet, I just don't have the fabrication expertise to craft something that intricate, nor do I have a welder |

What about angle iron? I wonder if a person could just use that common angle iron available at Home Depot and Lowes to make a light bar? |

All the metal I used were mild steel flats and square tubing from Home Depot...same stuff at Lowes. John ];') |
