I think the edock is a great idea. use motorcycle/ATV handlebar mounts for all your devices. Won't run out of places to mount your gadgets.

Couldn't use a straight bar in the KJ, would need to roll the bar to match the curve of the defrost/speaker panel up against the window. I like the tray, put a loop right over the vents.

We don't have any exposed mounting points, probably need to cut that plastic panel to reach the underlying mounting bolts.

Net book mount? when I get my laptop stand out of storage I'll show you what I got. Unless your passenger is really |____Wide_____| it works great!

I started making one a few weeks ago... still a work in progress...Image

needs 2 mounts to the radio sub frame and paint. The goal is to have a place for switchs, 2 roll bar guage mounts and a few ram mounts on the bar.

Very Nice!

Square bar for switches? where do you plan to mount Gauges?

How far do does that square bar extend out from the bar?

Its really a bent piece of flat stock into a box for the switch panel, and the tubes coming out extend 6 inches, the total distance from the dash panel edge is 7 inches.

I forgot to answer the question about the guages... my bad. I used 1 1/2 inch tube that can have a roll cage guage mount attached. it's on the passanger side for now, I will be flipping it over next time it is out.

Lower mount installed.

I just need to modify the dash cover to accept the spring clips and not push up the cover anymore, then paint.

Been eyeing some brackets at work for the server rack systems that would make excellent starts for this,

A dash mount bar will probably be the first thing I fab up. I'm thinking of some trunk window cage mounts as well for added storage.
