Neat, our engineers are looking into using the Formdrilling process.

Oh that would be awsome for sure  i wonder if i could get one of these for out high speed drill press. I could swap out my trans cross member for a solid piece real quick with something like this. Any more information RPMs needed to make this work and press spec's. I know that i could look it up but hopefully you already have them.

All I have is the You Tube I got from their web site.
The Formdrill bit must be a special alloy to take all that heat.
Almost looks like a contractor trying to drill a hole with a dull drill :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL:

I just showed this to my father in law who's in the welding and machine supply biz. he about jumped off his chair at it and is calling the company tomorrow to find out more.

maybe I'll wind up with some of their stuff for free at some point. :ROTFL: :pepper:

I like it in it's simplicity and effectiveness. Also he mentioned to me something about a "mag drill" that mounts onto a work surface with magnets and is a drill press. That's for the people asking about using a hand drill.

Mag drills are cool. When you need to drill stainless steel, you tack weld a steel plate onto the Stainless and drill or hole saw the hole you need.
