Looks great candpliberty! I would love to make something like these for my KK. How far do they stick out from the side? Do you mind if I ask how much it ended up costing you

The outside is even with the plastic flares. I made them a little further out in the rear than the front. I have plans to put round tubes on the outside later on. Right now they work as a step to get up to the roof better with the doors open. The steel was about a 120.00 but I used about 2/3rds of it so 80-90 bucks, 30 bucks for hardware, 16 bucks for paint, $ 25 in welding consumables. Grand total= $151-$161. Oh, and $20 in T shirts that caught fire with me in them!!!

Not bad. That's less than I was expecting. Now I've just got to find someone with welding equipment and a garage out here. My apartment complex doesn't like that in their parking lot for some reason...

I live in a community with lots of restrictions. Grinding and making a lot of noise had to be during the day.

Thank you, arengant! I spent the night and this time we feel good about this implant. I got an upgrade to wireless, when checking the devise. I have 6-8 weeks of recovery. Can't pickup more than 5 pounds. Can't extend my arms overhead, :banghead:

Probably stupid question, but it is not going to hurt to pop holes in the frame to mount these and skid plates is it? I realize going crazy with it could weaken the integrity, but not the 20 or so this would do, right?

I haven't heard of any Liberty's on this site developing frame failures and L.O.S.T. has been around for close to 10 years?
