The glass only opens a couple inches before hitting the tire, and the hatch cannot open unless you open the tire carrier. It takes like 2 seconds to open the swing arm :D

I need to gather up all the kk's around Texas who've purchased from you and have us all line up as sort of a timeline of how your kk armor has changed over time!

That'd be cool
You have one of the first rear bumpers I ever did on yours!

I'm so proud to own it too!

Honestly I think I have one of your earlier front bumpers also.

Yes those are the 5" travel shocks and I'll let you know how they work out.

Only 5" of travel? I'm assuming the whole doubling in front goes for travel too then... So in reality you're getting 10" of travel with those, correct?

They're so pretty, are you making a custom clevis for these?

It's a 2:1 ratio with shock travel vs wheel travel, yes.. I know I won't get the full 10" of wheel travel by only replacing the coilovers as we're bound by the cvs tie rods a arms etc. I am trying to use the factory stamped clevises with adapters, we'll see how that goes but I'm worried the entire assembly may be too long.

I can measure my factory 2011 clevis and JBA clevis if you need. I didn't pay much attention to see if they're different or not. I do know the JBA is wider(if I remember correctly it's partially because of the thicker arms). They come with a longer bolt for the lower control arm, buying mine used, I needed to buy a longer bolt. I now added 3/4" to the necessary tool set...

You think overall it'll be too long, or just too much droop? If it's just too much droop you can get limited straps. I've seen it done on the WKs. Not too expensive or difficult either.

Btw, if it's easy enough it might benefit you to sell some of the components to make coilovers. We can all do it fairly cheaply, but the hardest part comes to making the mounting plate and clevis. Just food for thought.

Thanks for the offer on the measurements BMXer, but I think I got it figured out. The first thing I'm going to do is cycle the shock without the spring to see how the shaft position lands at full bump and droop. If the entire assembly is too long it'll be hard to drop the LCA low enough to get it all bolted in. I am keeping limit straps in mind and will run them if my UCAS are slapping the springs or the CV's are binding at full droop.

I am eagerly watching how this goes. I have so many questions that I am hoping will be answered with pictures

He'll get there. Morgan works pretty quick. I'm curious about some of the specs of the springs and shocks. I'm assuming 2.5" springs for a 2" shock body?
