This is going to be an ongoing thread to share stuff I've made. Not everything is going to be for a KK or even for a vehicle. I'm usually building one or two days a week, aside from my full time job.
Here's this weekend's projects

Custom rack for another member who drives up and picks up his stuff from me.
The front light bar is swepped upward so lights can be mounted under it.

Pic with the rear gate open. Doesn't get much closer than that.

That extra rear bar gives a lot of extra space up there.

Custom rear receiver mounted rear ender defense bar per customer's specs. I feel sorry for the next person to rear end him. This is not for a Liberty.

Diggin the Rocker Pods! I had this idea also, does the pod dip down into the compartment any or does it just rest on top?

The front portion goes into the compartment a little. The top gets screwed into the dash from above.

Your work never ceases to amaze me. I wish I was closer to you, I'd be dropping all my ideas in your garage.

Keep it up!

Cool stuff, atthehelm! I'm gonna rob the front and rear loop idea for a future project. Make it easier to carry 8 foot and longer items!

I was also thinking of building a front receiver mounted support so I can basically have a full length lumber rack when I need it. Its funny how some us use our liberties to haul more stuff than guys with big full size trucks do.

Probably could, isn't there something like that already available though? I know there is one that screws into the rear door jamb but can't remember who makes them.
I'm also moving very soon, and wouldn't be able to get to it for a few weeks.
I'd be happy to make something for you after that though!

Me too. A flat rack and a front receiver support 20 footers? Yes, by taking the "bounce" out. 10 to 14 footers carried safely all day!

I would only be able to carry 20' flat bar if it was tied to some tube or angle. It surprising how floppy 3/16"x6"x20' flat bar is! Its like a noodle!

Moving anywhere significantly different or still in the same area?

Its only about 25min in Gardnerville, NV. My GF and I just bought our first house.

A 12'x25' garage with 10' ceilings is actually an upgrade from what I had. Just need to wire it for 230v and its ready.

Congrats! Your KK looks great in the driveway, but it will be great to keep it in the garage.

When the time is right the engagement ring better have a custom hoop and front mount receiver! :ROTFL:
