Ok I've had my Libby for about 6 months now I've had to put three new a-arm supports on it. I was just wondering if the Libby's had a-arm support problems or is it a result from back roading.

Thanks in advance~Randy

Ah, I don't why I call them that but I was meaning the "sway-bar" I was just wondering if they were a problem on a Libby or if its a result from were I do a lot of back roading and what not. Because I have put 3 on it, in the last couple of months.

I have had no problems, never heard of any problems, other than the bushing going out after alot of miles. I beat mine to death and no problems

Ok thanks I think my problem is I buy the cheap ones since I don't have a hole lot of money, so I think I'm just going to man up and get a good one.

What year and model do you have? Posting your year and model really helps us out here!

What happens to them? Do they snap, not move, or bend?

How often do you go off road and any modifications other then the sway bar?

I got a 04 Jeep liberty and the rubber bushing keep going bad to fast and there is no other mods than the sway bar. And I usually go every Friday after school and sometimes throughout the weekend.

hmm, I wonder why it goes bad that fast. I have a 2012 kk and when I removed my bushings they were pretty torn up after only 20k miles. I now have poly bushings on it with grease zerks. so far its going good. maybe some other members will shed some light on this issue as my only solution to this would be using the poly bushings and re torqueing the bolts.

and you really shouldn't skimp on suspension parts. if one part breaks, it wont be pretty. that being said, I have a spacer lift. so I guess I should listen to my own words.

try out these bushings:

Could you post some pics of exactly what you are having problems with?
I have an 03 and haven't had any problems with bushings yet (174,000 miles)

Well I've put new bushings and stuff on it since, but I just figured I'd ask why they kept going out and going bad.

Hey, on those poly front bushings, do they squeak a lot? Anyone here with any experience with them?

Buddiiee, they last a long time, but do squeak.

Dam... Have you figured a way to prevent it?

They'll squeak no matter what you do to them. Not loud though. Not sure why the squeaking is a deal breaker though...
