i like the wrangler after market grill
so i ordered one to see if i could somehow mod it to my 05 renegade
there are a few differences between the two most notably the wrangler grill is not as wide as the libby and the kj grill is curved and the wrangler grill is pretty much flat so i decided to give it a try,i picked up a used grill just in case i screwed it up
below are the steps i took to Frankenstein it together
first i cut the top section off the wrangler grill
then figured out where to cut and how much i needed to add
then using material from the wrangler grill "welded"the plastic in to make it wider
then "welded"the parts together
using flexible filler so it wont crack did the body work
bodywork done!
and a test fit
