Built this roof rack up, all aluminum to keep top weight down. I call it the BUSH ROO RACK ![]() The angle aluminum and plate have ZERO FLEX, and support me 200lbs standing on it. Muffler clamps to the rails, lifting eyebolts for lashing gear down, grade 8 hardware, nylocks and red loctite to keep it together ![]() ![]() In action near Cinqifoil lakes BC CANADA ![]() Zoomed out ![]() |

So were did you get the aluminum plate from and how thick? |

Metal super market in BURNABY BC CANADA. 3/16" Alum. plate stock and 1/8" thick x 2" alum angle. 1"x1" square tubing for the crossbar s I can move the rack to bigger truck simply by changing the crossbar out. |
