my stock '02 runs 255/70s with no trimming. The wider the tire, the better because you have more rubber on the ground which means more traction, which means more fun... I have no problem with stuffing and it only rubs in reverse with the wheels turned to lock. The tires measure to 30.8 inches. When I get my lift I will look into a 32 inch tire...
How high to 245/75 measure to?

I'm running 265/75/R16 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's with the Frankenlift. I removed the plastic from around the pinch welds and then bent them over. After doing that I have tons of room between the rear of the front wheel wells and the tires. Bought some undercoating today to seal up the bent pinch welds. With the steering wheel turned a fair ways I get some good rubbing between the front of the front wheel wells and the tires. The sway bar rubs a bit when the wheels are turned the full rotation; I'm hoping to fix this with some 1.25" Spidertrax spacers (backordered). On road the rear tires fit fine, although off road I might need to get some new bump stops so I don't tear apart the wheel wells.

These are Cooper Discoverer S/T 265/70R16 with a 3 1/2 inch lift on stock renegade rims. No trimming involved and only minor rubbing at full lock.
