That's exactly the type of place I want to move to within the next few years. Lived in KY all my life, but love the snow and skiing. That's a great pic.
We hardly get any snow here in KY anymore. I remember waist high snow as a kid. I was a lot shorter then, but it was definately higher than the top of my shoes which is about the deepest we get anymore. Every once in a while about a foot. The ice storms that started here in Lexington a few years are go sure are interesting though. Everyone was so unprepared for the first one that it took over a week for them to get the power back on for a lot of people. Looked like a frozen version of a hurricane came through. I can't believe how well the KJ does in it. I can't wait to see how it does with the new shoes. Really looking forward to the West Virginia ski trips this year. I've got to find a way to move closer to some snowy mountains. Please post more snow pics so I can live vicariously through you for now.

Yeah !! I hope it snows like hell!
So, how does it snow in Hell? I wonder who made those phrases? Rain like Hell, Snow like Hell, Windy as Hell, etc.......I have to say I am confused about Hell. Sounds like Kansas.....LOL!
I know you probably don't really want an answer, but here goes. According to Dante's Inferno, the Ninth Circle of Hell is a frozen lake called Cocytus. According to many beliefs Hell is a very extreme place, with many different extremes ranging from fire to ice. Therefore, adding "like Hell" signafies it is to an extreme.
