do like I did keep looking around for used stuff, I got mine used, guy had it for sale for a while, so I bought the bumper, Renegade Front flares, stock upper arms (which were toast) a complete OTT lift (junk of course) and some other Jeep stuff for 325. Just keep looking around and you never know
Everything I buy is mostly used (except for the OME lift) I have less than 500 in 5 Moabs and the ARB bumper, just good shopping

I have some doubts about local scrap yards since where I live, there are pretty much no built KJ's, but who knows, it never hurts to call a yard and ask if they have any jeep liberty's :)

4 cylinder KJs came stock with 4.10 gears so if you find one grab the front and rear diffs and you have your lower gears

and I didn't mean the scrap yards...Ebay/ craigs list auto trad newsletters etc

I already have a 4 wheel low... why would I want something... lower?

We need to sit down and talk very soon! If you go to a higher lift you will want taller tires and then mileage and power will fall off so then you will want lower gears to help off set the taller tires

 It is starting to sound like as soon as I lift my Jeep, I'm going to need to replace everything except the seat belts. First I am told to do spacer, or even new coils, I need new shocks/struts, than I am told I need/should get all's a-arms so that mine don't fall apart and I die on the highway, now I find out that when I go up, and I get some beefier tires, that I loose what little mpg I have, and even loose power, so I need to regear the Jeep?!? I'm starting to think I'm in way over my head here guys. I don't want to rebuild my Liberty, just want it to "stand out", so seriously. what gives?

You don't need new A-arms if you stay at 2.5" of Coil lift. If you go 3"+, yes you should look into getting them.

Bigger tires means less power and less mpg. That is the same for ALL vehicles, not just KJ's. Do it and accept it, do it and regear, or don't do it at all.

Well that cleared it up a bit. So if I was doing a lift that was 3" or more, would it be really foolish to install the a-arms at a later date, is this something that is so interconnected to everything else that I will be dissembling everything, just to get to it?
