KSKJ: Unfortunately the Kodak won't QUITE pull off some of these pics.... but that's awesome that you got one! You'll have to send me some pics once you get rollin with it.

INCREDIBLE photos Durango!! Were you using the bracketing technique for some of those pics?? Either way, they're amazing!

Nice shots! I was up there the weekend before you, but I had the Libby so loaded down I didn't want to run any trails with it. You sure are making me very jealous! Once again great pictures and thanks for sharing.

If you mean white-balance bracketing I did all of that in the RAW processing.

Everything that we shoot is manually bracketed WAAAAAAAAAYYYYY more than it needs to be. There were almost 5 1/2 gigs of photos shot in the 2 days we were there

There were shot with 3 different cameras: a Canon 30D, a Kodak Easyshare P+S and an old digital rebel that had the fisheye on it (I don't like to change lenses and risk contaminating the sensor)....

I'm not trying to take anything away from Durango here because everyone of you are right some of these images look amazing and he did a great job! Especially the first one!

But you won't get these kind of pictures with the best of cameras, he has spent some time on these after the shot to get the look that you guys are seeing.

If you want to get this same look on your images you'll need to either be able to bracket a few images or have the ability to edit RAW images. Look up HDR imaging there's a ton of tuts out there for it and you can get an idea on what it takes to achieve the same look. I'm sure you guys can get some really cool looking shots of your rigs as well.
