We were best friends for 5 years before marriage. Nine years later it's still under dispute who actually planted the first kiss, but we generally support each others hobbies... :)

Well I did it. I was dropping the GF off at her house and on the way I stopped by a housing development being built. I took an old favorite trail (that is almost gone due to excavating). At first I scared the H E double hockey sticks out of her with the climb in. It involved a 70 degree 3 foot slope into a tight trail almost to small for the Jeep. After we got into the backwoods and the trail got a little more tame she settled down. She asked to drive...So far all of your advice worked...Now what do i do (i prefer to be in the driver's seat I bought and her driving isn't up to par)?

Now you buy HER a Liberty too!

Sorry, I think we all forgot to mention the whole "Create a monster" thing.

In all seriousness, teach her how to trail drive. But don't deliver it to her like she's doing something wrong, just tell her the benefits of driving properly, show her the right lines and explain the right speeds and methods. You introduced her to the trail...be her trail guide.

omg.. i know EXACTLY what you mean... make sure you dont act like a back seat driver.. when i taught my wife to drive a stick.. i had to bite my tongue a bunch of times.. i was probably more nervous then she was lol.. but after a few times poppin the clutch too fast.. she learnt how to do it smooooooth... now she can drive a stick fine.. now in the Libby.. she is still nervous.. big difference from my old car.. down on the ground.. then with the libby and your up high.. she rather drive a mustang or something low to the ground.. :)

just dont say "NOT THAT WAY" or "DONT!" lol.. im tellin you.. one false word.. and ur in the hot seat for a few days.. watch what you say lol

I agree with what all of you have said. The whole marrige thing is a 2 way street.

When I got rid of my 1st KJ Renegade back in 03, my wife (God luv her!) wasnt impressed, ......................but i wasnt impressed with the mileage we were gettin' so off it trott.........

I've been kicking myself cause we have'nt been able to share those magical moments on 4X4ing for the past 2 years....:( I miss my off-roading sooooo bad........cant wait till I pick my brand spankers CRD up in Feb...........

Always like a family day in the sun, riding on the beach and playing in the surf at Hugenot Park near Jax. Fl.

Not many beaches left to 4wheel on.

Two hot surfers, one hot surfer mom.

Thanks babe for all the wonderful things you do for me and the kids.

7 huskies makes me tired just thinking about it. I've got an Aussie Shepard and a German Shepard mix. Keeping up with them makes me feel old sometimes.

That is a shame, but there is nothing you can do.

There are many other dog breeds out there that love babies.

Sorry to hear you had to relocate Meiko. I hope he found a good home. I've heard that story a lot with Huskies. It's a shame. I've seen Shepards behave the same way.
