...am curious, not sure if I asked this before or not but...did you take your hoods off to drill the holes or just be carefull not to hit anything underneath?

Just put your hand under it :jester:

I propped mine up with a 4x4 to give me clearance

Unless you using a 10" drill bit you'll be fine.I just dropped my hood insulation and kept in on top on the engine to catch all the metal shavings with the hood closed.
